In this workshop, Anna from The Indian Block Print Co. (formally The Arty Crafty Place) will teach you how to use Indian Printing Blocks and Textile Paint to hand print your own fabric design. The workshop will start with a detailed demonstration, time to practice with different colours and designs and once confident you will choose either a Tote Bag, Tea Towel or Cushion Cover to Block Print.

What You’ll Do:

Learn the traditional art of Indian Block Printing, and the joys of hand printing your own Fabric. Anna who will host your Printing workshop has been running Indian Block Printing workshops for over 10 years. She will share her in-depth knowledge of Block Printing with you. Showing you tips, tricks and techniques which will help you hand print your own creation, you’ll have time to practice and build confidence before moving onto your chosen item. Whether you count yourself as creative or not, block printing is for everyone! The detailed printing blocks do all the hard work for you, meaning you just have to choose the colours you want to use, and can make your creation as simple or detailed as you would like. Workshops are suitable for ages 8 years and upwards.
