Join Marion Scott-Baker and Beverly Vaughan for this fun workshop to create your very own applique bag.
Did you know that the average family throws away 3 bin bags of paper on boxing day? These fabric bags with your choice of appliques can be reused year after year and are a gift in themselves. Recipients can use them to store their gifts or re gift them to friends for years to come. So much easier than wrapping awkward shapes in paper and quicker too. Miniature blackboard labels mean that they can easily used again. Choose fabric, style and appliqué designs to suit your bag. Very simple to stitch and fun to make. If you have a particular fabric you would like to use for this workshop, please bring this along. This will determine the size of the bag you make.
Please bring your own basic sewing kit, including scissors, pins and tape measure.
